Hackers Love Us—And That’s How You Know You’re Onto Something

The past few days have been... eventful. A whole army of bots decided to make Lunash their favorite playground, trying to brute-force their way in. Think of it like an audition for 'Mission Impossible,' with a digital twist. Honestly, I’m taking it as validation—who needs fancy testimonials when even bots think you’re worth their time?

Our engineers? They’re on it, caffeinated and guarding the gates like digital Gandalf: 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS.' Indra, ever the diplomat, supplied his team with coffee to soften the battle’s edge. Meanwhile, when he first told Mando and me about the situation, we both went suspiciously quiet—not because we were mad, but because, to be honest, we had no idea what 'brute force' even meant.

The next day, I had a Brute Force 101 crash course with one of the engineers, Zi. I asked him to break it down in layman terms, startup style—structured, step-by-step. Turns out, it’s both impressive and alarming how determined bots can be.

But here’s the thing: I’ve learned that challenges like these are best handled with humor and teamwork. Not every problem requires sweating it out; sometimes, the best response is a good laugh. I even joked with the team that I’ll mention this during our next Demo Day or a VC meeting. After all, other startups might brag about clients or MRR—we’ve got bots knocking at the door, and we’re still standing tall as a team.

In the startup world, attention comes in all forms—clients, investors, and yes, even hackers. If no one’s curious about what you’re building, are you even building something worth noticing? Competition isn’t the enemy; it’s proof you’re onto something valuable.

What matters most isn’t how many obstacles come our way, but how we handle them—and honestly, Lunash’s secret sauce isn’t just in our tech; it’s in our team. We’ve stuck together through all kinds of challenges, laughing along the way, and that’s not going to change. So to the bots still banging at our door: Thanks, but no thanks. We’ve got more important things to build—and we’re just getting started.
